2025-2026 Schedule

If it helps us land a top transfer class again I'm all for it, but I do hope the warm weather destinations adapt to the NIL landscape. Vegas just doesn't interest me much and Thanksgiving in the perfect time to go to somewhere like Atlantis or Maui.
As I suspect those tournaments brought a lot of value to the areas at a “quiet” time for travel (right before Thanksgiving) I am also hoping that they figure out an NIL friendly way to compete for teams again.

I think folks are underestimating how much fun Vegas will be. I loved Baja Mar but it was a fortune. The reason Vegas is doing this big event and throwing money at NIL is to attract people to come visit (and spend money) at an otherwise quiet week. Round trip flights from NYC Sat-Wed are approximately $250. And there are outstanding 4 star hotels for $200 per night. There’s also a raiders home game on Sunday afternoon for us football fans. And there will be thousands of the most loyal diehard college basketball fans from all over the country so everyone you meet will be just as excited to talk hoops. For those questioning the amenities, Vegas has unbelievable restaurants, nightlife, pool clubs, etc. it’s going to be a BLAST.

See you there!
To me the difference is Vegas for Thanksgiving (not even the week before) is great for single guys looking to Bro out.

A week before and I could see many ways it could work for more people. I do agree that when you look at resort prices that week there is a huge value proposition for anyone who has no family commitments for Thanksgiving.

Which might be me, but I will wait until November and see how things shake out.

I have zero interest in two games and being in an airport on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

As someone who has a newborn, I 100% hope we go back to the Caribbean in a non-conflicting holiday part of the year. Easiest ask possible for my wife + my parents (dad is a huge STJ fan) who can babysit. Vegas around Thanksgiving... basically impossible.

Yeah I brought my 2 year old daughter to Baha Mar and she loved it. Vegas won't have stuff like tortoise/flamingo feedings, sand/beaches, and other stuff she enjoyed doing. My wife and I thought it was the best trip we've ever been on, even though we were a little unsure of whether to bring our toddler at first (definitely the right call).

With Vegas kids aren't even allowed in the casinos, so the schedule would really have to be ideal timing for us to go.

Thank you. This is a great point I wasn’t considering. I was planning to fly back on Wednesday but that Thanksgiving travel day could be really messed up. Now reconsiderubg
yep good points

Stay at Mandalay, you get the wave pool, the lazy river, the aquarium. I used to take my little ones to Vegas every year and they had a blast. Even when we stayed at Mandalay lite, the old Monte Carlo. LOL

Cant imagine what's more exciting than watching mjmaherjr who doesn't play cards or gamble at the roulette wheel betting red every time. It's freaking riveting

An exhibition I assume?

This is the path to 14:
St. John’s is in a dialogue with the Garden about moving two more games to the World’s Most Famous Arena and playing its entire 10-game conference schedule there. The current plan the school is looking to expand on has 12 dates at MSG (including Seton Hall on a date not yet determined). Big East games against DePaul and Butler could be relocated from Carnesecca Arena on campus to the Garden.

“Kull estimated that an active season ticket holder who hadn’t been a big donor would be seated no worse than section 108 in the Garden.”

Section 108 has been my section for years and I would love to return there.
Love my seats in 108!

Me too! I better keep mine…, or somewhat close anyway.
