2023 USNWR college rankings

Now that many colleges are not requiring the SAT/ACT even more kids are applying to top schools on the slim chance they may get in. UCLA for example gets 100,000 applicants now at I think $90 per application. That is $9 million. Not bad as a profit center for the admission department.

I double checked my figures and I underestimated them. The application fee is only $70 but the number of applicants was just under 150,000 which happens to be the most in the country.
 
Here's a simpler version: How to choose the wrong school:
1. Pay too much or borrow too much for your undergrad degree even though it'll be useless in 5 years if you're good at your job.
2. Pick a school based on it's athletics program or social atmosphere
3. Go to UConn
