To me Syracuse makes the most sense. They area already familiar with him they are set to lose Howard and probably Battle.

Now they have 2 guards coming in but my guess is they will have space for Green and he would be eligible mid-December next year.

Being a sophomore st Kentucky generally isn’t a good thing. It means you didn’t pan out and weren’t good enough for the league and are going to get recruited over. The thing is Cal’s teams do well when the kids who stick around buy into being role players.

Maybe they can trade him for Quinerly

Like Moose said, nice to have a spot open to take advantage of transfers. W the landscape today. it is more important then ever. Can’t fill our roster w too many projects and not have a spot for a mid season transfer stud. We got lucky w Steere not having to use a scholy next semester.

During their matchup against Duke they mentioned Jordan Bruner from Yale would be a grad transfer at the end of this season. He got hurt last year and the Ivy League doesn't allow red shirts. Seems to fit Mullins preffered type of big at 6'9"/205. Versatile forward averaging 11.5ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.8apg and shooting 35% from outside. Would take this kid in a heartbeat.

It's such a bad rule. My friend's cousin was forced to leave Columbia and stay away from the basketball team for a year because of an injury. He re-enrolled the summer after and re-joined the team when he was healthy.

Rob Panell did the same thing for Cornell lacrosse. He dropped his classes the week before finals, turned down Citi and returned. It was a bit different since he was the best player in the country and one of the few that can make a good living playing lacrosse full time.

Harvard had 2 kids do this a few years back also. I think they got in some kind of trouble withdrew from school for a year and then returned for their senior year. Kyle Casey and Brandyn Curry, forgot the details but I know they had to leave school for a year in order to preserve that last year of eligibilty at Harvard.
