Other than the controversial Rutgers win in Lavin's first year, have we won any other BET games in last dozen years?

Beat UCONN and Georgetown in back to back years during the Norm era.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to play G'Town? Just hate this matchup. I don't think we have ever beaten them at MSG in the history of the Big East Tournament, plus they will be playing to salvage a disaster of a season. We have surprised many this year with our 7 wins (hopefully 8 after the PC game), and I am worried about our guys being overconfident. b/c we just beat them last week.

Remember beating them soundly one year with norm in BET

The johnnies beat Uconn so bad that year that Calhoun just sat down with ten minutes to go and stopped coaching. And their drunk fans stumbled down the escalators.

I'm not sure that's right. I think we dropped a line or two due to DJ's injury. My guess is we would have been about the same.

Maybe it is the optimist in me talking but three of the four teams that are on our side of the tournament bracket we beat in the Garden this year. If we can only somehow find a way around that fourth team (Villanova) then we could be playing on Saturday night for a spot in the big dance.

That being said we need to be bring our A game to the table every time we step on the court in order to finish the season in the right way. Lets start out by putting it all on the line, playing with maximum effort for 40 minutes and knocking off Georgetown Wednesday night!
