You have no idea...
Let's reflect upon this
1.You posted schedule - I got that
2.I suggested possible outcomes - you did not get that
Shall I say "dude"?
No let me refrain...
Yes apparently we speak different languages
Maybe I should lighten up and chalk it up to a harmless generational thing lol
Have a nice night

General,

Were you a wild child of the 60s by chance? Would explain a lot.

If it's any clue, his West Point uniform was tie-dyed and bell-bottomed. :)

R BH -
Tyed dyed maybe
Bell bottoms (Navy uniforms ) not likely
lol
Maybe there's a mix of Sherman, Sheridan, Grant and others - and Poe and Whistler and Leary and others who also attended (albeit didn't graduate)

(Texting - unlike talking face to face - leaves so much to be desired as to tone, intent, facetiousness - and - misinterpreted posts)

I come in peace
Let's go Red Storm!

Oregon State only went 5-27 last year. Their best player is Tres Tinkle, the coach's son, who took a medical redshirt last year, so that was certainly a factor (they went to the NCAA Tournament two years ago, when he was healthy).

He's back, as are all the other key players from last year. That being said, those key players only won 5 games.

Matt Norlander of CBS Sports picked them 9th out of 12 in the Pac 12, in his offseason power rankings.

QUEENS, N.Y. (July 26, 2017) – As part of a trip out West this December that also features a matchup with Arizona State at The Staples Center, the St. John’s men’s basketball team will face off against Grand Canyon University at Talking Stick Resort Arena, the home of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 11:30 p.m. ET.

The contest will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU and will be part of a thrilling doubleheader that pits perennial national powers Arizona against Texas A&M in the opening game of the twin bill.

Coming off back-to-back 20-win seasons in the WAC, the Antelopes are led by three-time NBA All-Star Dan Majerle, a legendary figure in the Phoenix basketball community and a teammate of Red Storm Assistant Coach Mitch Richmond on 1988 United States Olympic Team.

QUEENS, N.Y. (July 26, 2017) – The opening round matchups for the AdvoCare Invitational were announced on Wednesday afternoon, as the Red Storm learned of its Thanksgiving Day tilt with Oregon State.

Scheduled for a 2 p.m. tipoff on ESPNU, the contest will be the third all-time between the two teams and the first since 2001, as the Johnnies defeated the Beavers, 66-63, in the Great Alaska Shootout that season. The only other meeting between the two programs came on Valentine’s Day in 1981, as Oregon State took down St. John’s, 57-45, in a neutral site matchup at Nassau Coliseum.

The Red Storm will face either Missouri on Long Beach State in the second game of the tournament on Friday, Nov. 24. St. John’s sports a 1-0 record against both of those programs, defeating Missouri in the opening game of the 1972 NIT and downing Long Beach State on Dec. 22, 2014, at Carnesecca Arena.

The Johnnies will play their third game of the tournament on Sunday, Nov. 26, against a team from the opposite side of the bracket, which consists of West Virginia, Nebraska, UCF and Marist.

All games in the AdvoCare Invitational will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks

I'm excited for this tournament. Really need to get a win at Oregon State as Mizzou has a top 10, maybe a top 5 recruiting class so could be ranked if we meet them on the 2nd day. Will give us an early season measuring stick on where we stand and hopefully some early season quality wins.

Who is 11am bright and early for? Heck, at 8am my time that's barely bright and early.

I'll be in the Central Time Zone that day, which is 10 am. When I'm on vacation, I consider that early.

BTW, I think this sucks if you're going down there. I'd much rather have a night game, that way I can do the park in the morning and early afternoon, before things get REALLY crowded. Now, the only way to go is at night, when parks are filling up for the nighttime shows (Of course, Thanksgiving weekend will be busy whenever you go).

If we beat Oregon St., it's a bright and early game Friday morning, so don't get too drunk Thanksgiving night, everybody.

The good thing about playing early Thanksgiving Day, is that it will not interfere with Giants-Washington

What do you mean if we beat Oregon State?

You never know these days.

I'd normally say you never know when we're involved, but everyone but the top level teams seems to suffer some bad non-conference loss(es).

This one won't be easy, the Antelopes sell out each game. Fans are fanatics.

Just noticed they show "non-bracketed" games at bottom.... Is it just part of the package for teams to help fill their non-conf schedule against teams they may play in the tournament ?

Non-Bracketed Games:
Nebraska at St. John’s (Nov. 16), Long Beach State at West Virginia (Nov. 20), Missouri at UCF (Nov. 30)

Also, looking at the brackets - I would assume they have us in the 4th slot behind WVA, Missouri and UCF ?

Since you want semis to be 1-4 and 2-3 match ups and W Virginia would clearly seem to be number 1 more likely UCF is number 4 and Mizzu and us are 2 and 3.
