I remember not too long ago posters on here saying

1) Kentucky is not that good
2) bring on UK, we match up well with them

When we were "peaking" in February I guess. When will SJU evolve into a "peaking" in March team? May be a prerable strategy.

And cost me a bunch, I was watching at Blarney Rock before I went into MSG and even when UConn was down 10 I was nervous. I commented to some other SJU fans that UConn is like cockroaches, you can never kill them off and watched in agony as Tulsa couldn't score.

Even stranger when you look at Lunardi's summary of team's by conference the Big East now has 5. It's like some sick April foolsday joke. Only could happen to St. John's. Someone at ESPN probably did it on purpose. Also last night during the Arizona game, they were going through the top seeds and when Villanova's name came up Bill Walton said he never saw them play. ESPN policy is to make believe Big East games are not on TV. Of course Walton is usually smoking something.

Pretty safe to say entry meant to be for St. John's. Actually wouldn't mind playing Duke second round as I think it's the one number one seed that we could actually beat. I'm concerned that we'll be in the 8/9 game with Kentucky as the No. 1 seed.

I like the South 8/9 a lot better than yesterday's. VCU is very beatable. Potential revenge on Duke and Gonzaga all the way the the Final Four

That said I'd still rather be a 10 or 11 or even 14 seed than 8/9

Been watching this AAC tournament all week, man this is a pretty poor conference, and only going to get worse in the future. They've already got 5 teams with RPI's over 200.

On the other hand, been very impressed with the Atlantic 10. What they've been able to put together there has been pretty cool. Very competitive conference.
