2015 Bracketology

How is Xavier in in some brackets? They didn't even have a good win until Georgetown and have dropped games to UTEP, LBSU, auburn, and DePaul

May be better not to worry about others and hope we can beat a solid Nova team and not be 0-3 in BE. Repeating our 0-5 performance from last year would be a killer & going 1-4 would be a horrible start. You have to win home games. Start tomorrow Johnnies!

Very true. Plus I was the one ragging on how bad seton halls resume was before big east play. Now we know how useless that was. My bad

Going by our current RPI we'd clearly be in. I think he knocked us out judging by momentum which is fair.

And the two wins we're hanging our hat on don't look as good as they did. Minnesota is very disappointing and although Cuse is 3-0 in the ACC, it's an empty 3-0 and look very much like a middle of the pack ACC bubble team. And with no McCullough it might be worse than that.

Can't hurt;

@JonRothstein: Saint Mary's is keeping pace with Gonzaga in the WCC. Gaels are a perfect 6-0 in league play. Brad Waldow playing at high level (20.4, 9.9).

after the win at PC Lunardi had as as "the last four in"

He also has us as the 7th and last BE team to get in. It is clearly too early for all of this as a lot can and will change in terms of BE standings before all this is said and done. I still find it encouraging that he believes 7 get in, and it's up to us to finish high in the standings to stay away from the bubble. Lunardi's views will mean more to me a month from now.

I was telling someone the other day St Marys was STJ's best out of conf win.

Syracuse will continue to be our best out of conference win because their RPI should remain higher than St. Mary's and it was on the road, which for our RPI means it was worth 1.4 wins.

When we beat Duke it becomes a different story. A top 10 RPI win is a top 10 RPI win.

I'm not worried about bracketology now, I'm worried about winning. The ball is in our hands. Let's get a road win Sun and build from there.
