Usually don't start the schedule thread this early, but we have some of schedule confirmed I believe:

Maui Invitational (w/ Kansas, Indiana, UCLA, UNLV, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Chaminade)

@ Long Beach State
Syracuse
Rutgers
Incarnate Word
Arizona St (@MGM)

Maui Invitational (w/ Kansas, Indiana, UCLA, UNLV, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Chaminade)

Home against Syracuse
@ Duke (has this been confirmed?)
@ St Mary's (believe it was announced as a home and home series with SMC earlier this year)

Negative on the @ St. Mary's. Last year was the payback from Lavin's first game (the one played at 2am).

We are @ Long Beach St. next year. Probably will be played just before, or just after, the Maui games.

Keep in mind that I'm usually not 100% accurate, but that is what I heard. The St. Mary's game was absolutely a return game, from what I remember hearing.

As of right now the series with SYracuse has not been extended.

They started one with Georgetown who they are playing away next year. I would assume either Villanova or SJU will be removed. I am also not sure if they would want to play two big east games on road next year so maybe they will take a break from us unless we go back up there.

Thanks, will remove it for now. Hopefully we get them at MSG and I can put it back

Schedule so far:
Nov 19th: Rutgers @ SJU - BE/B10
Nov 23-25: Maui Invitation
Dec 13: Cuse @ SJU
Dec 22: Vs. Az St. @ MGM Grand

We still go to Duke and LB St, any dates for them?

FWIW that's 8 OOC games against decent competition, and Chaminade maybe. That's a pretty good schedule. The other four OOC will likely be cupcakes, though I think I read on JJ that the Duke game is taking a break this year.

Yes, Moose was reporting that on the other site, but there's been no confirmation (not calling Moose a liar by any means. In fact, he was the first to report that Cuse was back on, so he's probably right). Sometimes, these home-and-homes take a year or so off in between games, for a variety of reasons (took St. Mary's four years to payback Lavin's first game).

Rothstein reported earlier that we will host Incarnate Word on Fri. 12/18, obviously at CA. They won 18 games last year, and made the CIT. Their top scorer is gone, but every other key player on the team should return.

Definitely not playing Duke this year.
November 19th Rutgers CA
November 23-25 Maui
December 13th Syracuse MSG
December 18th Incarnate word CA
December 22nd Arizona State MGM
Long Beach State TBD

I read the other day Stephen F. Austin has seven open games because teams don't want to play them, and Coach Underwood sounded really frustrated about the situation. I know it'll never happen, but I'd actually be all for a game at their place as a dangerous early test.

Next season isn't the year to be taking chances early. Our guys are talented but haven't played together. There will be some bumps in the road early. I'm really excited for Williams, but I think it will take some time for the team to understand how to utilize him and get him in the best spots to score. It's tough with guys that are so versatile.

According to this, we will have an extra home game as part of the Maui Invitational, against a low-major team.

The four Opening Round teams will take part in Opening Games at the seven island schools that will travel to the Championship Round of the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, which will take place Nov. 23-25 at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui, Hawaii. The seven island squads will each host Opening Games against one of the four Opening Round teams prior to departing for the Championship Round in Maui
