As of now without Adonis....
Starters:
G- Jordan
G- Harrison
G- Branch
F- Jones
C- Obekpa

Bench:
G/F- Pointer
G- Greene
G- Balamou

Am I missing something ? I honestly think we CANT compete unless we sign another 6-7+ guy and another legit shooter. With this listed team we are one injury or 5 foul away from a very thin team. The team will result to bad shots and sloppy play. If Obekpa leaves, we are doomed. If Adonis plays next year and is decent, we are in good shape. The year after ? Oh boy, Lav better get to work.....

Greene will be in the starting lineup and Pointer will get more minutes than Jones.
 
This team will get destroyed off the boards. Harrison may well lead team in rebounds. Three point shooting will be a big time weakness. An interior game will not exist. Harrison and Jordan will take most of the shots, and teams will know that from day one. The departure of Sampson is a major blow, as was the graduation of Sanchez. Yes, I guess you could use the argument that we missed the dance with them, we can miss it without them. Still, anyone discounting Sampson's departure is in dreamland.

With that team we will be picked 7th and would not make the dance WE need an offensive center and a high % outside shooter. a SF would be nice

The problem now is ADR committing wouldn't even help us that much, the dude is only physically capable of playing about 20 minutes a game and he'd be forced to play 40.
 
On a positive note we could always use Joey Delarosa as our C. LOL. FWIW I don't think we are going to get Adonis.

Are we really considering using Christian Jones at center? The guy goes from red shirt to playing 40 minutes as a severly undersized center. Reminds me of when Anthony Glover was playing center.

I don't think so, we have no depth, period.

Article in NY Daily News seems to suggest that, as ADR has us dropping below others on his list.
 
If Lavin can't get a four star recruit who's own brother goes to SJU, it would just show how far his recruiting has fallen off due to poor seasons and premature departures.

Three star, which further proves your point. I still think the family ties will win out here, provided we have someone on staff to pursue him. Steve Lavin, please, please call your office. Phone reception in Napa shaky I guess. :unsure:
