UCONN lost by one possession to eventual national champion. They were okayThis is what killed UCONN last year. Great talent but no one to run team. Cost them and so far has cost us 3 games.

Sellers can, Ian and Sanon are streaky. We have shooters but no PG to get them the ball.
You lose enough of them, it could be deadly. Even Kentucky might not be a great win, if we get it.or, they could use another tough game so they can still build a resume. They're in a very complicated place if they lose tomorrow.
Insane player. Getting him in the portal after year 1 of Rick might’ve made us all think guys like that were gonna be coming around every year. Not the caseSeeing this team makes me realize just how good Kadary was.
Except, we actually committed about 15, and Iowa State actually committed about 30.For all the hand wringing and gnashing of teeth we were called for 21 fouls and Iowa St for 24.
Unfortunately, all three not good decision makers, yet.Sellers can, Ian and Sanon are streaky.
Correct…. They lost. They did not have a point guard last year. It cost them, we look very much the same. Lots of talent and no one to run team .UCONN lost by one possession to eventual national champion. They were okay
I’ll take Deivon smith this yearInsane player. Getting him in the portal after year 1 of Rick might’ve made us all think guys like that were gonna be coming around every year. Not the case
The reason, for me at least, is that Ian is so constitutionally not a point guard & never was, that I can't blame him for not filling in those shoes. It never made sense. If Rick wasn't Rick, I think it would've gotten a lot more heat. Joson is a wing, so different position. So much of the discussion is about darling but if Ian and joson (two players much HIGHER rated than Darling) could just be half decent combo guards and play some defense we wouldn’t need darling to be on the floor 24/7
What if we recruited a proven combo instead of having to develop one?So much of the discussion is about darling but if Ian and joson (two players much HIGHER rated than Darling) could just be half decent combo guards and play some defense we wouldn’t need darling to be on the floor 24/7
