Yeah I was barely dissing Darling. He can play at this level for 15-20 minutes. It is *insane* we have one point guard who can organize the offense. And its his physical & defensive limitations that keep him at 15-20 minutes.

Please no bringing up Baylor heartbreak loss last year followed by Cinderella season. This team has guard weaknesses that may haunt us. Last year’s squad had savvy guards. Seller is our only savvy perimeter player.

3 if you count Michigan, and all with similar themes.

This team may be just good enough to lose.

I think they'll find something eventually, but ceiling is not as high as last year's was (we didn't reach said ceiling, so I'm not saying second round is the best they can do), and I wonder if, by the time we find it, it will be too late.

We craved depth and shooting, but Sanon and Jackson are redundant. Hindsight sucks, but needed one of those guys' NIL to go to a PG.

Similar issue in half court offense against Alabama. When the game really counts, who do you trust manufacturing a good shot -- either for themselves or someone else?

Darling fouling out isn't that much of a surprise, is it? The guy is physically overmatched against an opponent like that.

So frustrating. This game's result is a recruitment failure.

Last 6 minutes when we could have sealed this game, Zuby killed us. Missed pass for a wide open layup would have given us a 4 point lead. At least 3 offensive boards from his guy in last 5 minutes.

Wow, I told my significant other the same. Zuby was getting beaten and outhustled on the boards and missed a couple of ill-advised shots down the stretch.

I usually am not quick to judgement. All three games including Michigan exhibition games top teams . They blew it and came up short. Three power conference games 3 losses.

This is what killed UCONN last year. Great talent but no one to run team. Cost them and so far has cost us 3 games.

Out toughed is exactly how’d I describe that last 5 minutes.

There’s little difference between the one handed runner their guy hit and the missed shot at the rim sellers had. Thats basketball. But give a team enough lives and you’ll end up on the wrong end of it.
