First says we displayed promise and lacked consistency? and finished 15-17. Also says we use portal as we recently added Richmond and smith. Recent shouldn’t pertain to what we did last year.
His turnovers scare me. I am biased and watched the one game he had against Iowa State (7 steals!). He's absolutely BE caliber athlete and a nasty defender. He averaged 2.7 steals to 2.2 fouls in B12 play...
Unlike Drake or Johnson, I definitely know he's a BE-caliber guy. I am unsure if he's a guy who's starting on a team in the second weekend in March.

Lol we’ll be playing in the crown next year if this kid is anywhere near playing meaningful minutes for our team.
Though he has quick feet and hands that get him lots of steals defensively he gives them all back and more with turnovers offensively. Undersized and inefficient from all 3 levels.

Pitino doesn’t really care about turnovers as much as more structured coaches. He wants chaos. This kid is total chaos. Peyton Siva averaged 3.4 turnovers as a junior and 2.7 as a senior with the same size and shooting %s.
If he’s overly wild or we are in more of a half court game, Lewis time. Wouldn’t be a bad haul this late in the game.
I was wondering what kind of witchcraft Hurley was using to keep all those good players. This helps…a bit.

Let’s not compare this dude who has never played for an above .500 team in 3 years of college and who has some of the worst efficiency numbers I’ve ever seen against good competition (an 81.4 offensive rating in 14 tier A games this year is absolutely abominable) to a national championship winning point guard.
On offense teams literally won’t even guard him so say goodbye to any driving lanes for Jackson and Hopkins.
He would be a terrible haul even in our current situation and what the market currently is

If we're in a situation where we have to find a guy from a lower level to play serious minutes at PG we should find one that checks as many of these 5 boxes as possible.
(In no particular order)
- Good passer / Pass first mentality
- Can make open 3s at decent volume
- Doesn't excessively turn it over
- Not a liability defensively
- Decent size (For defensive switchability)
None of those lower level guys are going to check all 5 and few are probably going to check 4. But we shouldn't be targeting anybody that checks less than 3.

I know this kid is supposed to be transferring to Oklahoma since they are hiring his step dad as an assistant. However, it’s been almost a week and he hasn’t formally committed I do not think and Oklahoma already got a PG, Nigel Pack from Miami. Kind of odd they would have two PGs. Maybe we can “steal” one of them. Just trying to think outside the box.
