I don't get the rules at all, to be frank.

I ‘think’ it has to do with foreign players being unable to get NIL but they can be ‘loaned’ to colleges and maybe still get their Euro salary?

I’m sure CRP has it figured out and mastered already. Perhaps that’s why there has been recent radio silence on incoming players. However, the team must know. That’s why we have the recent portalers? Just a thought/guess.

Yes hence why they must believe names are coming to the portal over the next remaining days because the inaction on the PG front (besides Lewis) has been deafening. They need at minimum 5 more players on this roster so we know more players are coming.

You are correct. It's because they are here on a student visa. I think it's F-1. But like anything, there are workarounds. Generally though you're not allowed to earn money by working when you are here on a student visa.

Not an NIL rule per se, just immigration law.
