No wonder beat writers are saying the FO is on the hot seat along with Thibs. I don't agree with it, but its this stuff that Dolan keeps track of.

This team and the overall season had such less juice than the past couple of years for a variety of reasons so this is not a surprise too me. I think a lot of fans think at most, this team will make the second round and go no further.
I agree. I have zero thought about going, especially for those prices. Team is uninspiring.

And they are still one piece (or two) away even after giving up all those assets for KAT and Bridges. If they want to improve this offseason, they will have to trade from Hart, OG or Bridges. And I am not a fan of the coach and think this team needs a new leader to reach a higher ceiling. I think with Thibs, you will always have a high floor but never truly heighten your ceiling.
The front office is not on the hot seat. Thiibs, who admittedly I am not a big fan of, on the other hand I think is walking a tightrope.
Dolan fortunately has not interfered and left Rose and his team do their thing. And they have been very good. Not since Checkets, Grunfeld, Riley has the Knicks been run so efficiently and professionally.
The media does not like Rose because he does not have pressers and does not leak information. The beats act like rejected high schoolers.
Again. I think this is all Thibs. Dolan, if anything, has been very patient with his front office. Even the multitude of incompetent ones we as fans have had to endure.
I firmly believe Rose and his team are safe. The team he built may not be best for Thibs’ style. For example, Thibs was never a fan of a perimeter center like KAT. He is more comfortable playing shot blocking stay at home centers like Robinson.
If we lose in round 1 (would be mildly surprised), I think Leon stays but Rosas or someone like that goes.
They are not losing in the first round.
Unlike most first round series, I think its important to have a statement game where they outgrit Detroit and beat them handily. Don't give them any confidence whatsoever. The talent isn't close.
