G Nick Boyd, San Diego State​

Nick Boyd started 82 games in his college career, including the 2023 Final Four game with Florida Atlantic. When Dusty May left FAU for Michigan, Boyd chose to go to San Diego State. The New York native started 31 games this season for the Aztecs and averaged 13.4 points and 3.9 assists. Would be solid as a second ball handler 6th man type but wouldn’t be crazy about it if he was our primary PG

The thing you gotta love about Nick Boyd is his command of the pick and roll both on offense and defense. He has an expertise that belies his age.

He has to be. The exit interviews are generally staggered.
