@Marquette, Sat., Mar. 4, 2p, FOX

I, I will be king
And you, you will be queen
Though nothing will drive them away
We can beat them, just for one day
We can be heroes, just for one day

This loss sims up anderson’s time as head coach. When it was time to make a winning play he failed and the players did too. Good luck Mike you your next chapter!

Didn’t watch the game so don’t know the particulars but the final score tells me two things.

1. The Anderson regime will go down as the regime that never taught defense. And no, you can’t blame it in racehorse basketball which has not been visible for quite some time.

2. For a team to score this many points without a structured offense, the talent and quickness is certainly there regardless of what other posters may say. Clearly this talent and athleticism was wasted on this staff.

The season can’t end soon enough. A change is needed.

Anyone else know that Stanley would hit the first and miss the 2nd?? Just the way it is for us
Obviously not Anderson. He had Wusu and Storr out 10 feet beyond the 3 point line. If he makes it that fine so you don’t have a run out but they have to be told on a miss you are crashing. And that was a long rebound

Ok so I was out w family missed the game but didn't miss much. Can we just say we will skip the veg East tournament and give us the L . Or let van coach the tournament . From what I read w good coaching we could have won this game. Just shows our talent is indeed there Anderson was lying. Just the coach isn't

Appreciate they battled, but 96 points by M’Q a huge mountain to climb
Yes, it was an exciting game but the number of points was not the factor in this game. We committed 19 turnovers, mostly unforced, and Posh Alexander and Wusu committed 10 of them. That was 2 more than the entire Marquette team combined.
That Marquette committed only 8 turnovers speaks more to their higher regard for spacing and ball movement which is likely instilled in practices.

This team is awful defensively. If they aren’t turning you over, which they are not very often, they can’t stop anyone. Marquette is weak in the middle. St. John’s, in big stretches, scored at will attacking the basket. Nothing is sustained. I don’t understand it. Bottom line is you can’t give up that many points and still lose by single digits to a 25 win team. Incredibly frustrating.
