very depressing thinking about how far we have fallenI remember attending a preseason open practice during Omar Cook's freshman year and Jarvis saying that St. John's had the most players in the NBA.
Don't know if that was true or not but I believe around 99-2000 all these guys were in the league:
Mullin
Wennington
Mark Jackson
Jayson Williams
Malik Sealy
Shawnelle Scott
Felipe Lopez
Zendon Hamilton
Ron Artest
Lavor Postell
Erick Barkley

Ah, when players had careers in college, not a season, maybe two.I remember attending a preseason open practice during Omar Cook's freshman year and Jarvis saying that St. John's had the most players in the NBA.

Since Jarvis I believeI remember attending a preseason open practice during Omar Cook's freshman year and Jarvis saying that St. John's had the most players in the NBA.

Pointer drafted at least. Did you mean to add someone else besides champagnie for Mullin?Since Jarvis I believe
Norm had 0
Lavin -Sampson and Harkless
Mullin -Ponds and Champagnie
Anderson- Champagnie
And only Harkless had any success
Ponds played 4 gamesPointer drafted at least. Did you mean to add someone else besides champagnie for Mullin?
By that standard, add Tariq Owens who played 3 NBA games.Ponds played 4 games
Didn’t realize he had but yes that is the St John’s standardBy that standard, add Tariq Owens who played 3 NBA games.
Though not sure counts because he didn’t finish hereBy that standard, add Tariq Owens who played 3 NBA games.
What I meant was you had Champagnie listed twicePonds played 4 games
In fairness to Norm he had two.Since Jarvis I believe
Norm had 0
Lavin -Sampson and Harkless
Mullin -Ponds and Champagnie
Anderson- Champagnie
And only Harkless had any success
Are you trying to say there has been a drop off in the talent level at St. John’s in the last 20 years? I hadn’t noticed, interesting.I remember attending a preseason open practice during Omar Cook's freshman year and Jarvis saying that St. John's had the most players in the NBA.

Lost track of bad coachesWhat I meant was you had Champagnie listed twice
Jackson left and finished elsewhereIn fairness to Norm he had two.
Cedric Jackson and DJ Kennedy.
Jackson left and finished elsewhere
Didn’t realize Kennedy played any games but Lavin gets him too then
But regardless this is pretty pathetic
I'm Shocked!!! NOT![]()
