Cohen100 percent wants championships. Building the entire area around CitiField has nothing to do with that.

Yes, and my point was Cohen can do both at one time while everything is under construction. It was in response to the post about Cohen not caring about championships.

And of course the value of the team goes up with the development of the surrounding area.

Well you must really mean that since you put an emphatic “period” and a “.” the end of your post mature post.

Have it as much as you want. But it is bizarre behavior and says a lot more about you, for an adult to post on a Mets thread just to take shots at complete strangers.

If it was the other way around, I would be too excited about my team to give a rat’s rear end about posting in an opposing team’s thread.

I guess you still have scars from those Mets fans who took your lunch money.

The thing with Boston teams is that I only despise the Celtics because I am a Knicks fan.

The other teams I root for, Mets, Islanders, and Giants do not have a rivalry with Boston. I loathe Philadelphia teams first and then Washington teams second.

Nah, I’m just surprised that you would put so much weight into the Mets losing like your life has been ruined😂😂😂. As a Yankee fan, if the Yankees had the same collapse that the Mets had and some one brought it to my attention, I would respond “Completely agree” . Then again, unlike your immature reaction to friendly banter that has gone on this site countless other times, I don’t live and die by a baseball team.

But let’s be honest, your reaction to my post goes beyond what I posted. You just enjoy ganging up on someone who has been a regular punching bag on this site for some time which is why I rarely come on here anymore, and that’s pretty telling of your character, or lack there of.

If you were to look back to posts from both Met and Yankee fan bases there were many posts of this sort back and forth, So perhaps my post was a bit strong but so was the Mets colossal collapse. And you know very well that what I said in the second part of the post above is very true which again is why you won’t see me much if at all on this site posting anymore. Hope all is well.
 
I never post crap about the Yankees. I know the extreme parts of both fan bases hate the other team and expect everyone else to also.

Mantle was wrapping up when I started following baseball. In one of me few trips to Yankee Stadium as a kid it was a thrill just being in the stands and knowing he was on the field.

Then there are all the great Italian American Yankees - DiMaggio, Berra, Rizzuto, Lazzeri, and others. Even from Queens you'd idolize them.

Even now, as a diehard Mets fan, i can't help but being impressed with all those world championships, and going to the stadium is like a pilgrimmage to greatness.

I will say this though. Citifield is family friendly, Yankee Stadium not so much. To come into this thread when other diehards are licking their wounds just to gloat is just childish and classless. If you did that in a bar you might just get your ass kicked.

If you hate the Mets as a Yankee fan, why not just do it in silence or to your Yankee friends?

Despite this stupidity of some Yankee fans, I'll still root for the Yankees in the playoffs, though with no real emotion.

Mets yuck, Jets yuck. My most consistent sports fan pleasure is still the Yankees losing and it has nothing to do with the Mets. Walked to Ebbets Field as a boy and nagged Jackie Robinson for autographs.
