Yankees 2025 Season

Glad I was out all night and got to miss another disgusting performance by The Pretenders.

WRT to Rodon, you cannot walk the #8 hitter on 4 pitches, and then hit the #9 hitter. He's his own worst enemy.

Outscored 21-1 since they had a 2-0 lead Tuesday night.

Everyone in the bullpen is horrible at this point in the season. How the hell could you possibly have a bullpen ERA over 5 since the All-Star break?

Red Sux and Jays lost, so nothing gained.

Stanton and Chisholm look lost. 2 struggling Tiger's pitchers have shut the Yanks down. 13 more strikeouts tonight. Pathetic.

Yanks at 4-4 in the last 3 series. That isn't going to cut it.

It's cringe worthy watching Idiot Boone in the postgame. He is sadly lost trying to come up with any fixes.

I have arrived at the point that I can no longer blame Boone. He is what he is. The fault is with Cashman and ownership. You put this man is place and provided him with inadequate tools to do his job. Sell the team.

A coupe of jams for Cam but he did a nice job battling back. Nice to score runs after two no shows and 6 of them without the benefit of home runs.

Now on to Boston. Need to take that series.

93 pitches for Gil through 6, he better go the 7th, let him throw 105-110 pitches.

The pen is to crappy to trust for 3 innings.

Well the 2 runs in the 7th helps, 4-0

Wow it's a miracle. the pen didn't implode again.
Would love a sweep and finish this stretch 8-4.
I should 7-5 at the very least so gotta go atleast 1-1 for that.

Now the reason I said that about Boone?
We know that the pen can't be trusted, but not only that.
After Tuesday Cruz would have been the last guy that I put in, especially against the bastard Redsox, but Cruz is the first guy that Boone puts in??? Are you freaking kidding me?

Consecutive winning seasons can also be referred to as strictly a CMA pablum.

On another note, cool factoid about DiMaggio hitting his 361st HR at Fenway and Judge hitting his 362nd at Fenway 74 yrs later

Yeah, Anderson controlled about 1/3rd of his schedule on the way to a winning season. The Yankees control 0% of theirs (and are often screwed by schedule makers, so that TV and other teams can make the most money off their popularity). They just play who is put in front of them.

All well and good and I’m sure most if not all baseball franchises would signup for 30+ consecutive ‘winning’ seasons. However when you have the resources the Yankee franchise has had, achieving a ‘winning’ record is bare minimum. Those resources in a way does control the ability to win at least 82 games a year.
