Groundbreaking scheduled for Saturday morning 10/18, same day as StormFest and the exhibition against Towson. Invitations to those who committed to fund it were sent out.
Man take a look at this place. Idaho’s on campus arena. Holds 4,200. Yes I know Idaho is different than NY. Not sure what our answer is but I don’t think it’s CA long term.

No knowledge...just wish and if they would do something new before putting logos on the new building shown in the rendering & model...
I doubt they will as I don’t believe they have any intention on rebranding.

What is the cost difference between this building versus a new on campus arena? I seriously have no idea and am just asking
I get it but really think they should.
Also like the Felipe era lightning bolt logo (except the yellow) but maybe not on building as its not primary...think it's an opportunity to build something better in this new era

Assuming this practice facility costs give or take $65-75 million...a new arena - with all the new codes and permits needed in NY...probably 150 million more and I think that's being really conservative

Let me start this by saying I know a new arena is never going to happen for obvious reasons. CA has plenty of problems that have been talked about ad nauseam but one that I don’t see much talk about is the exterior. The building is stuck in time and it shows in every way on the exterior. I’m not sure what would be feasible but the exterior desperately needs to be brought into the 21st century.
MSG MSG and more MSG. We are going to be one of NY’s main teams along with the Knicks. That’s really all that matters.
I'd vote for Marillac Hall to get an exterior facelift first...
Let Marillac pay for it
