And, saw Glengarry Glen Ross for the first time and even though the acting was insane, the story itself didn’t do a whole lot. I’ve never really been a salesman so maybe that’s it? Baldwin’s part was hilarious. And Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead…pleasantly surprised. Hoffman is amazing and the story itself was, although a bit flawed, very interesting. Watching people self-combust is always something and Marisa Tomei is basically wearing nothing the first 15-20 minutes.

You've never seen Glengarry Glen Ross before ? Oh man what a movie. The Baldwin speech one of the greatest speeches in movie history imo

 
I had an appointment at the East Northport DMV yesterday and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Very helpful people.

I’m putting off Real ID for as long as possible.

It’s much easier to renew my passport for domestic air travel.

Agree but my passport literally expired 2 weeks ago so I had a double whammy and start traveling to see clients in September otherwise I’d have done the same thing.

My bad for not renewing my passport sooner
 
Have any of you watched Dexter: Resurrection? I watched the original series until the Trinity Killer season (I think that was season 4), but that’s it. Do you need to watch any other Dexter to watch Resurrection properly?

I only watched first season or two of Dexter but because it has been going strong for so long decided to watch this season. Enjoyed it and no you needn’t have seen all the seasons to watch Resurrection. Heard it has been cancelled but will be brought back in another iteration.

I stopped watching OG Dexter because someone told me the Trinity Killer season was the last that was really any good. I did try to watch the first few episodes of season 5 but it did seem like it dropped off a cliff. In all fairness, season 4 was phenomenal, like one of the best seasons of any show I’ve watched and Lithgow is incredible, when is he not? Perfect foil for Dexter.

I see resurrection has like all 8.5-plus ratings on IMDb so that definitely piques my interest. Snowfall is very good, definitely keeping my attention, but it hasn’t been “great” yet.
 
I don’t know if any of you are Snowfall fans but I finally got what I’d consider two exceptional episodes: 8 and 9 of season 3. Sad turn of events with a couple of shocking moments. Cinematography and music choices are top notch for sure.
