Mendoza is such a crappy manager always trotting the same guys out no matter what. Why is this guy pitching the 8th inning. This guy should be pitching mop up duty only. And, why didn’t Manaea pitch to Harper in the 5th? It was a good matchup, it’s only the 5th and you DONT GO TO YOUR BULLPEN IN THE 5th. Having Soto later in the game would have helped but this manager is gonna ruin these guys’ careers.

Saw this from a fan who listened to the game on the radio and got some good insight from howie

Now if this all true, I’d love Mendoza to explain why he thought Helsley was the guy in a 5-3 ballgame against team we are chasing for the division. Considering it appears howie said we haven’t solved the issue yet, I don’t understand using him there
