It has been frustrating, but I don’t think we are a bad team at 69-61. Could really use Manaea and Senga to their stride next time through the rotation.

They’re not going with a six man rotation, which seems like a very avoidable mistake. We will see how it looks tomorrow

It’s an odd move. Even if you have to stack two starters for one of those 6 spots.

I have pretty much given up hope that we can catch the Phillies. At this point we need to win as many games as possible to hold off the Reds and if we do try to figure out what rotation would give us the best chance to win a three game series on the road.

Phillies have been streaky all year and maybe the loss of Wheeler and winning 5 or 6 games against them the next two weeks could prompt a losing streak.

Worse than us…the Mets!

Remember when Daniel Voglebach was getting ABs when Vientos was riding the pine?

The Mets thought he was a low ceiling player and profiled as “just a DH”. Here’s the thing. When we live in the 21st Century there is a position in the lineup called DH. Who knew? Maybe “just a DH”, although not ideal, is something to consider.
