St. John's players in 2025 NBA Summer League

Played well in the G League last year and lighting it up in the summer league. Two problems are (1) 6'5" guard is probably the deepest position in the NBA; (2) I wonder what summer league means (if anything) beyond an opportunity for teams to work on development of 10 or 15 rookies who were high draft picks. But sometimes a summer league star translates, and Jenkins is making a strong case to be that guy.
Saw that. Also had three blocks. Good for Chris, another example of a guy whose work ethic/determination could earn him a long look somewhere.
Just imagine if he had another year with CRP.
The Rockets coach drew up a play for Ledlum at the end of regulation. His 3 sailed just a bit outside
, but he was well defended. Glad to see him playing well.
Kadary got 25 minutes last night and struggled unfortunately. Cant be easy to sit 2 games then get into a rhythm but others are in same position. Hopefully he continues to get good minutes the rest of the way.

Very similar player to RJ - if RJ can get out there he might make some noise also. But feels as though he will have to do his work in the G League (as might Jones).
I watched most of the first half and another full Piston game - Jenkins has really improved as a facilitator and also picking up full court defensively. Will be mildly surprised if he doesn't start the year with the Pistons.
Marillac’s endless work with Jenkins this past year is paying off. His encouragement of DJ was mega motivating.
