Well you got us although I could only have misspelled one as I never referenced Belinda. As for Brandi I will blame that on seeing Rick Carlisle’s name in print 100 times in the past month and got confused!PS neither of you have spelled either last name right in the last two posts.

A musician friend of mine from back in the day used to praise them as the “greatest original unoriginal band in the world” referring to their uniqueness while staying 100% true to rock and roll roots.

Two videos from the British composer, author, comedian Rainer Hersch. He has made a conscious effort take the “stuffy” out of classical music, relate it to modern music, bring comedy to it, make it fun.
In the first he medleys modern hits whose music is based on Pachelbel’s Canon, which was written in the late 1600’s. The examples are diverse for sure and the choir accompanying his orchestra is fantastic.
The second shows a bit of his comedy and delves into the different pieces of music Queen used in creating Bohemian Rhapsody.

Just thought I'd share this clip from a show I went to last night. I've seen Elvis proably 15 times and LaMarisoul's band La Santa Ceceila once before. Also listened through the spanish language version of This Year's Model a few times. Was great to see it performed live. PS I didn't film it. Just found it. PPS my son's name is Elvis, don't judge.
Killer version of that song.
LaMarisoul's great version of Rocket Man, she's versatile.
