Walks kill.

The first 3 run rally for the Dodgers was started by a WALK by Peterson to Rojas. The 8th inning started with a lead off WALK to Betts. You just can’t do it against good teams.
 
The vibes were a little too good in queens, the sports gods had to hit us with Francisco broken toe and an awful loss.

Just go beat the crap out of the Rockies and let’s move on

Honestly they could’ve maybe should’ve won all 4 games in LA. Before the start of the series we would all have taken the split. Mets won the season series. Eh, long season. Still in 1st. 15 games over. Off to Rockie land.

If 39-24 1st place in the NL East and best record in the NL is “Metsing” then sign me up. Like my son says to me Dad what have they done to hurt you so bad? 😟
 
Senga on the mound today against Antonio Senzatela who is 1-10 and we scorched for 7 earned runs just a week ago.

Add up those ingredients and the Mets moneyline is -320 tonight, pretty wild for a baseball moneyline. But not uncommon when playing Colorado this season.

Gotta go out and take care of business without #12, who I assume will get the weekend to get the swelling down in his toe

Hell of a play by Alonso to keep this 1-0. Remember he had a similar play against the Yankees recently and he sailed the throw home. This one was tougher, he was on the run, and put it right on the money
 
And another scared at bat by Baty, struck out looking in the 9th last night, follows up by doing it again tonight, bases loaded no one out. Both at bats, two of the three strikes looking.
