Pete with a huge all around game - the throw home earlier, the 2 run double, the slide home

In this crazy era of annual outs in multi year deals you never know, but even without this crazy great start, Pete belongs in a Met uniform for his entire career.

Great slide, he was dead to rights and he knew it. Also, crushing that slider when i had visions of him flailing badly at a strike 3 that was faar off the plate was great.

Lindor, what else? His genuine smile and positive vibe he brings makes him a great clubhouse guy over and above his superstar play.

Baty heads up unassisted double play broke the backs of a base loaded nobody out Rockies rally.

Mendoza - great job giving props to Peterson for having great stuff and command.

Mets youth movement, Baty and Alvarez just not major league hitters IMO, Mauricio obviously needs to get his at bats before any judgement. Acuna at least brings other things to the table.

Batt’s advanced stats on Savant far outpaces Alvarez. I think Baty looks like a confident major leaguer this year, while Alvarez looks like he needs a month in AAA
