Knicks

99.7% win probability. To blow that they had to allow circus 3 after circus 3, missed FT’s, turnovers late, and a ridiculously lucky buzzer beater that bounced 5 feet in the air and went in. You have to severely F up to lose a game like that and that’s what the Knicks just did. I feel sick!

They’ve won in spite of Thibs. Can he ask Rick for his suit guy he looks like Schlemiel. Refs were brutal tonight. Maybe a loss like this gets rid of the bing bong crew. As far as being sick after a game I put this up there with 02 Wildcard game Giants-Niners.

I really have a hard time watching the NBA. They permit so many fouls to go uncalled that the ones they do call appear to be completely random. It's no wonder so many challenges get reversed. Then there are so many intentional elbows to the face, slaps to the face, hooks, push offs, throw downs. Even great passes to wide open cutters comes after some brutal contact and pushoffs.

On the other hand having guys on your roster who were there 2 years ago definitely a plus. On the other hand seeing courtside fans sitting in seats that someone paid a few grand for kind of ridicules the notion of die hard fans going wild. On the other hand, we have that too.

Worst loss I have ever seen. This is clearly a test of whatever resilience this team has, and it will take all of it if they are to win. Thibs really needs to work the refs better on the physicality that Brunson is getting from the opposing defenders - he was mugged all night.

I’m for building a new MSG now. I don’t know if Westies used the old Penn Station as a burial ground but that place is cursed. Between our futility, the Knicks and Rangers combined 3 titles since it opened in 1967. In person I can say besides this season for us, the clincher vs Montreal in 14 for the Rangers. Get rid of the place, we hanging our hat on the circus 🎪 and some concerts. The place is a house horrors. They should not have tore down old Yankee stadium, MSG get the dynamite.

I don’t watch the current NBA much and so don’t understand it. Were the Knicks out of TOs (I wasn’t keeping track) during the last two minutes? They were scoring so they had plenty of chances to call one. Also but I don’t watch NBA, is it customary to not use soft pressure with a big lead so the clock will move and the losing team has less possessions? The Pacers were allowed to get down and shoot those threes very quickly.

Or was Thibs in a coma? They call it a players league for a reason I guess. Tough night for a lot of fans.

there was a sequence when Brunson was dribbling, the Pacer defender, kept on hitting and slapping him, on the side, in the chest, on the arm and in the face, then Brunson, puts his hand up defensively and hits the Pacer defender, and the guy trips, then going down he trips Brunson and they call an offensive foul on Brunson. Held up on review.

Ridiculous how many fouls there were on that one play. I'm okay with physical play, but this comment by Beasts is so true, seems random, and next they will call a 30 foot away from the basket a tiny wrist slap.

Not breaking any news here but the nova guys are just better than their individual selfs. Raise up to the occasion and know how to win....

Horrible loss. Worse yet we had to listen to Reggie Miller. Too many game stoppages for video review of a play. Get better refs and cut the reviews to 1 a game. Announcing is hampered by having too many people in the booth. Too many things ignored/missed, like who committed the foul, how many fouls etc.

It has always been a cardinal rule in basketball to never foul if in the last few minutes you have a lead of five or more points. You could not let the opposition take foul shots with the clock stopped.
With the three point shot and the long range accuracy of the current players that rule may not be true. The Knicks didn’t choke last night. The three point shooting of the Indiana guard won the game. After he made a couple of threes in a row if the Knicks couldn’t force him to give up the ball they would have been better off putting him on the foul line then letting him take a three point shot.
It sounds crazy but if the NBA doesn’t move the three point line further out more of the NBA players will do what the Indiana guard did last night

The Curse of Dolan continues; until he is gone the Knicks will have no success. They need a real owner not a rock and roll band member wanna be.
