Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

Not too many guys have done more work w community kids than Ty.

Ty's daughter Tyra lost a tough 3 set match in first round of the Italian Open today. Tyra will be playing for Italy rather than the U.S. going forward. Her Mom is Italian and she grew up near Milan. She's only 17 and appears to have a promising future in tennis.

Don't forget the outstanding coaching he got in college. LOL
Seriously, based on what the sentiment of the picture and thoughts represents, the remembrance of a man who left us too soon, did you really need to go there with your comment?

Drew earned both his Bachelor's (2014) and Master's (2016) degrees from St. John's University in Sports Management. He worked as a manager and administrative assistant for the Red Storm's men's basketball program from 2011-15 under head coach Steve Lavin.

I know a lot of people were sour on Joel towards the end of his tenure, but I can't stress enough how banged up he was. He played through so many injuries trying to will that team to the finish line and into the tournament. He will always be a favorite of mine and I'm really happy for him that he's getting a shot in so many places. He's rehabbed hard post surgery and now moving up to this league in Spain is a nice reward for hard work. I'm sure he will continue to do well for himself.
