I guess I'm not as high on this kid as most others seem to be. To be fair I've only watched one 7 minute highlight video of his but I didn't see much explosiveness or transition play. His mediocre 3p% checks out based on the video with his funky motion and slow release. Numbers paint him as a bad defender and struggled against the better competition he played.

Looks like he has a very good feel for PnR and would be solid playing that with Mitchell, Zuby, and Hopkins.

With 14-15 spot’s & considering Jackson a combo guard for now, I really think we still need 2 PGs.

You are correct although Mike Rutherford was a member of Mike and the Mechanics, he is probably better known for his membership in another band, Genesis.

But a Nick Rutherford type as a backup PG would be nice.

Seriously. I was perusing the PGs who portaled today on 247 and pretty much all those who merited a star had no eligibility left. If there are 5th years granted then Kadary would be the answer anyway.

NCAA needs to grow some balls here. At least have the IT guys change the portal so that guys who have played five full years cannot enter.

If they really want to make it look like they care about scholar-athletes, give a fifth year to anyone who graduates in three.
