Have reeled off 5 wins in a row. Impressive pitching in yesterdays 1-0 game in addition to some hot hitting recently by Goldie, Judgie, Rice-y!

Maybe just maybe, this is a year of mediocre competetion, we shall see.

I agree, they need another reliable starter especially knowing Gil’s return is delayed as Boone said this week he needs more time. Also will need a 3B eventually so Cabrera can go back to being the utility guy.
 
Volpe, Chisholm and Wells need to get going offensively to really make this lineup robust. Not sure that Goldschmidt can keep going at the current pace, but he's been great. Get a series win today with Carrasco on the mound.

Yes they do and I feel the lineup is still a bat light. And I really don’t know what to make of Chisholm. He is good in the field but not sure in the box. Strikeouts way too much for my liking.
 
I am not a fan of Williams being the closer at this point, but geez. Cabrera throws an out away, and then there is soft contact. Horrible loss, that this team seems to experience a bunch of times every year.

Good old bad fielding does them in again. Once again a bugaboo for this team and manager.

Blew an opportunity to take the lead in the top of the 10th by not putting the ball in play.
