Yankees 2025 Season

Sports is great, could pitch like garbage but because of guaranteed contracts you still get your mega millions.

In the real world you do a crappy job and you'll be gone real quick. Damn wish I was a sports star.

Kirk - Scottie give me a 100 mph fastball......Scottie - but skipper should we not test it at scranton....Kirk - we will test it under combat to save the Yankee universe.

At 11-7, the Yankees are tied with Texas for the AL's best record. Next up, four road games in a ballpark named after our former owner.

Bellinger's catch to end the game was all the more amazing when you factor in that he's a left-handed thrower. By wearing his glove on his right hand, he has to get to that ball a split-second earlier than a righty thrower would.

Judge is amazing. No further words needed on him.

If this is the Schmidt that the Yankees get this season, it will be a good thing. He was efficient - which he has struggled with throughout his career. This divisional fight this year will be a long battle that will last the season - I don't think anyone runs away with it. The winner may only have 88-89 wins.

Just keep winning. Somehow this starting pitching-poor team is not too far off the best record in MLB. I do believe the lack of starting pitching strength will negatively affect them. The bullpen arms will not be able to continue at this pace.

Ben Rice has blossomed before our very eyes. He has been terrific thus far. Cabrera quietly contributes when he gets his chances. Judge is Judge. And, Bellinger had some good swings last night, and may be on the way to coming out of his slump. They did what they needed to do offensively to win.

But, last night's win was all about the bullpen coming through. I agree with Delaware - something has to give with the starting rotation. Will Woman is not a MLB caliber pitcher. He just doesn't consistently throw strikes, and he lacks put away stuff. They need some guys to step up, aside from Fried, and hope that Gil can return at a similar caliber to a season ago.

Yankees now have the American League's best record at 13-7. They are one gane better than Texas, Detriot, and Toronto.

Fernando Cruz appears to be the latest in a long line of cast-off (by another club) relievers, who has come to the Yankees, and made a contribution.
