if RJ returns to college, it will have to be a school that guarantees him sufficient time. Right now with roster expansion to 15 and our own roster growth, RJ will not find that time with us.

I mean he’d probably inexplicably be benched for the last 6 minutes of the game so…Wait… hold on… if RJ was returning here…
You don’t think a returning BE POY and most likely 1st team ALL American… will get 28+ mpg here?
Please! RJ was the big east player of the year and arguably would be the top transfer in the portal. He’d have two years of our system under his belt. He’d have no trouble. getting 30 plus minutes.if RJ returns to college, it will have to be a school that guarantees him sufficient time. For 99.98% percent of his time here RJ was treated fine and he and the team had a mutually beneficial relationship.I'm a RJ fan, but I have no basis to say one way or the other whether we "screwed" RJ "big time".
When you hardly hear anything significant, there is almost always more to the story one way or another. It wouldn't surprise me to learn there is more to this. In fact, I'd be surprised if there wasn't.
Well good thing that excellent strategy of benching the BE POY when we just got back to down by 2 resulted in… checks notes… a nine point loss. Its simple, Luis shot poorly as everyone else did ,BUT he did not play defense 2nd half. Many unchallenged layups by ARK .Ricks 1st Commandant, If you dont play defense you dont play, period! Star or no star!
When RJ was hurt last year, he would come in and play his game, and Coach used to complain that because he didnt practice he didnt carry out team plays. I saw that in Providence vs ARK, he was on his own planet!
