First, after Pitino is gone, anyone who would make his kind of impact would cost double. Without the right coach we could slip backwards.
Second, our attendance is still soft, though much improved. Yes we can sellout big games at msg, but for Seton Hall at end of season there were plenty of seats left on the afyermarket in the 200s for $8 by game time. This was for a first place team about to clinch 1st place.
We are in great position, but we still need to improve ticket sales, and post Pitino sustaining success not a given.
