SJU Portal Targets

I agree with most of your post except what's in bold.

First, after Pitino is gone, anyone who would make his kind of impact would cost double. Without the right coach we could slip backwards.

Second, our attendance is still soft, though much improved. Yes we can sellout big games at msg, but for Seton Hall at end of season there were plenty of seats left on the afyermarket in the 200s for $8 by game time. This was for a first place team about to clinch 1st place.

We are in great position, but we still need to improve ticket sales, and post Pitino sustaining success not a given.
I consider it the opposite of a given. Enjoy these years!

Man I love reading all your posts but some of us have been on here for 20+ years and still don’t understand the concept of staying on the topic 😂. And yes I said “us” because this post is the definition of hypocrisy!

Let’s keep it to Lee, Mitchell, Jackson, Sellers, player X,Y,Z so we can track any news easier!?

And no more buyers/Sellers jokes while we are at it.

I don't think taking a game that was moved from Carnesecca to MSG and sold out is a great example of soft ticket sales. Even if speculators were selling on the aftermarket and there were a few empty seats, pulling 17-18k at MSG is in no way soft. Agree tho that post-Pitino success is no guarantee. Keep building that brand Rick!

EDIT: Sign some guys this weekend staff! (staying on topic)

Correctamundo sirvoo, let's hope this weekend plays out like everyone in Twitterverse (X) seems to be saying and we have a Motherlode of a MegaHaul. I saw a meme of Danny-Boy *#itting his pants after the MegaHaul happens.

Questions: say this all happens, every transfer visiting in the next few days, commits,
1. Are we done?
2. Is our cupboard over-filled, and P.T. will be such a headache that we have unhappy campers.

It was soft. It was nowhere near the demand of uconn or creighton, and in reality we didnt start selling out till the reg season was almost over. I dont believe it was a real sellout since we give away tix to various organization at last minute. It was a great crowd considering but i csn tell you at no point on stub hub could you even get face value for 200s

anyone else concerned that Mitchell can't shoot free throws (40%) ? I can't take any more of guys missing front end of 1 & 1's down the stretch in close games ! 40% is just awful !

Certainly wish his FT percentage was better and I expect it will be part of his developmental focus. We are going to upgrade the team's shooting quite a bit and Mitchell will serve a different important roll. He appears to be a super athlete, strong defender and active rebounder. Personally, I am glad we also plan to keep that defensive identity.

the downside of twitter is it gives everyone with half a braincell an opinion (I'm sure plenty of people can say that about me and my tweets also)

but Huff was never "would replace Huff" is an embarrassingly stupid thought.

Everyone, but if he could shoot he wouldn't be in college still. 38% is absolutely insane so it can only go up.
