Acaden Lewis de-commits from Kentucky after all their transfer portal additions.

These high school kids are getting screwed. It's crazy. We are to the point that top 50 kids should be going to Fordham for a year.

Or Juco... lol

But it would be smart if they are confident in their abilities to go to a Lower Level to start their college career... Kill it at Fordham for a year or two... get the Bag Soph/Jr year...

They are getting screwed, but only temporarily. Other than the Flaggs of the world, as you said, freshmen can go to a lower conference for a year or two and dominate. Then transfer and cash in.

I am fairly certain that many freshmen are already told to go to a lower conference and be ready for a spot the following year.

Just think...we bring a dozen potential transfers here a day and how many of them average 1.2 pts per game? Almost none. The same kid could average 17 and 6 at St. Bonaventure and we'd be salivating.

Soon, no one will be watching the McDonald's All American game....lol, someone will put on a Portal-East All Stars vs. Portal West All Stars instead. (half-kidding............ have a Combine maybe?)

Unfortunately, in the new world order of college basketball, coaches want veteran players to battle other veteran players at the very competitive top of the game.
The very best freshmen will still get major $$ from the Duke's of the world.
College basketball is now like watching the trade deals in the NBA.😀

Here are the remaining uncommitted PGs in ESPN’s latest top 100 transfer rankings:

25 - Lee
73 - Tre Holloman Michigan State
88 - Izaiah Pasha Delaware
90 - Tayton Conerway Troy
94 - Hayden Gray UC San Diego

I’d love Holloman at this point. Not sure if we would have interest in any of these players outside of Lee though.

The kid from Delaware has a lot of potential (going to be a soph) and good size. Might be worth a shot if we can't get either Lee or Wagner
