SJU unsuccessfully recruited Acaden Lewis before he committed to Kentucky. He recently de-committed from Wildcats. Talented, but a freshman and obviously it’s risky giving one a starting nod. Not sure if he would consider backup role.

I will say that there are top teams who somehow find a way to trust freshmen PGs.

Lewis can probably play any style too: Sidwell has a pretty slow pace, but I assume in summer ball Lewis plays faster.

Way out the loop of HS recruitments, isn’t it the assumption that the reason his recruitment is back open is because he wants a starting spot?

We may no longer be in a position to pick and choose but expect he only goes somewhere with the expectation of big role.
