I could see that. The $6mm-$7mm figure has been bounced around as the target number for a healthy NIL budget.

There's something about Fielder that I don't like. Can't put my finger on it. But that aside, he showed he can play next to another big, he is productive, and he is probably an upgrade over either Vince or Prey.

I like him, he’s got a presence to him. Don’t think he’d fit with the way we scramble.

Prey has more upside potential than Fielder IMHO. Ceiling is higher, given Ruben's ability to defend better.

It seems like as long as McDermott is there Creighton will be good.

One of the great mysteries of basketball is how McDermott coached at Iowa State for 4 years, and never had an overall winning season.

A true outlier, in that respect.
