1-2 tonight was rough. Xavier was outmatched most of the game but Marquette really played pretty poorly down the stretch. A really poor last 10 or so games for them.

And we will likely have not one team in the final 16. That is pretty embarrassing imho. Hard to put a positive spin on that fact (unless UCONN bails us out)

I hope UConn does exactly that, we need deep tourney runs to keep the Big East relevant.

Disappointing year for the conference. We really need all the schools to up our games. Non con next year is going to be massive. We really need to pile up some more big wins. The only team that fit the bill this year was marquette. Short term we need to play tougher and win more in non conference. Mid to long term I wish I had a good answer about expansion or otherwise but as Rick said the old adage of if it’s not broke don’t fix shouldn’t apply here. Let’s break it and make it better and more competitive in this new landscape.

Less credibility than NIT allowing Butler and DePaul in the field. Personally I’m rooting for DePaul to beat Georgetown for a 4th time.
