That was the key to this game….he didn’t shoot or score well and missed most of his shots…but he had our D out of position and they cleaned up

I know a lot of guys on here don’t like him, but I thought Lappas did a good job - called out the awful officiating. Tough game to officiate, but the refs missed a lot and Lappas called them on it.

That was a key we were on a big run crowd got into it then they called that bullshit fifth foul on Kadary which was not even close to being a foul and that just killed our momentum.
Could use a Dead Storm blog post for some humor after this loss.

The game was a ref show. They took Kadary out of the game for us and the bigs out of the game for Arkansas. The calls were consistent in their inconsistency. Zuby was a hero.
At the end of the day we mostly played our game but more opportunities could not overcome a 28% shooting percentage (maybe it was lower by the end, but it was there close to the end). A few more layups made, a key turnover or rebound here or there and we squeak it out.
Terrible way to go out for Kadary.
The rest of us will be fine - we have had many worse seasons in the last 25 years, by those standards this was a pretty damn good one. And we get another season next year. The seniors don't.

Yeah, I don't love his schtick but I had many bigger irritants today.
We could have won without production from RJ, but not without production from both Kadary and RJ.

I know it feels that way but just not true. We made TREMENDOUS growth this year and the program is back. This loss hurts but this was such an overall positive for St. John’s. I fully expect to be in sweet 16 contention again next year.
He was the only one who hit one. Arkansas only hit one also I believe. This is not on Lefty. It’s all the shots at the rim that we missed.
Fair observation, agree w you. The program is on track for continuous success.

Forget threes - they needed a guy who could hit a layup.
Very small track record of this in his 1.5 years
He's had two 3-5 games in freshman year and one 5-7 this year from perimeter
