Seton Hall has had some great recent performances and some awful ones.

I’m honestly most worried about guys just staying healthy throughout it. Hope it doesn’t get too chippy with us showing them up last month.
 
We will be bigger favorites in this one than we were in the Bryant game.

Stay healthy. Open up a lead and get the bench some burn and the starters some rest heading into a week off.

Celebrate on the court after the game.
 
Pack the garden as this will (hopefully) be a coronation for this unbelievable St. John’s team.

I just want to take a moment to say something. Postseason college basketball is a fickle b*tch. Of all the postseasons we have in American sports, CBB is the most of a crapshoot. Catch one team on the wrong day and it all could be over.

With that said, I know we all are thinking about how far this team can go in the dance. Or if they will win the BET. That’s what defines these seasons in the long run.

But I don’t think any of us should look past what Saturday can be. A celebration of winning our league outright. We’ve never done it in my lifetime. We’ve never even sniffed doing it in the New Big East era where it was supposed to be “more attainable”. This is a monumental moment for this program and we should all be fired up at the idea of enjoying that with a win against SH. I am so proud of these kids, this staff and all the fans.

Winning the regular season is a marathon and far more difficult than grabbing the BE Tourney championship. Yes, an achievement well worth embracing and remembering. Obviously winning the BET is icing on the cake.

We haven't won a BE Championship in your lifetime Jack because compared to most of the members of this board you have been alive for about 5 minutes. 🤣
