Creighton (MSG), Sun., Feb. 16, 3p, FS-1

I believe you called it that he'd miss multiple foul shots, and he did. The miss on the front end of a one and one in the second half was huge. But agree with dk423, they do ask him to do way to much. It almost seems out of necessity though because It doesn't seem like they have a capable backup PG.
Yeah around halftime I said he was going to miss another one in the 2nd half from fatigue. We were making him work yesterday real hard. And agree he is asked to do a lot.

All talk was about Ashworth, but I wonder what folks think about Kalkbrenner and the pros. To me he looks like he needs a lot of time in the weight room. While he has the height, he has the body of a 99 pound weakling when you compare him to Zuby. May not have the strength for the NBA.

Clingan was much more prepared physically and to me with a better chance of success in NBA than Kalk.

Good second round flier.

He is one of the quickest players in the whole conference. Who was clowning him? He looks like Haley Joel Osment...that's funny and not an indictment on his play. He's a clear all-conference player. He was killing us yesterday on his own...who cares if he missed some shots. We guarded him almost 90 feet all game to wear him down.
He looks like the nerdy guy from the Progressive Insurance commercials.

Not being a smart ass. In Baylor loss, team shot 16-28 and Zuby’s misses were crucial. In Nova one point loss, team was 6-10. In Creighton one point loss, team was 4-7.
We shot 23-28 in Georgia 3 point loss, so it can be argued that we’d have only one loss with better free throw shooting.

I thought the 82% shot against Georgia WAS good FT shooting? ;)

Exactly. That’s the only loss we have that can’t be attributed to poor FT shooting other three losses were 60% or lower.

He can shoot the three, and defend at a high level. People said Zach Edey wasn't a pro and he's doing very well.

Kalkbrenner will absolutely find a role in the NBA

St. John’s made another statement on Sunday in front of a sold out MSG. It was another win over a ranked opponent, it was another come from behind effort, and It was another win despite poor free throw shooting and defying the statistics. Zach Braziller of the NY Post joins us to recap & preview the road remaining
