This was a great win for a lot of reasons.
It certainly improves our chances of winning the Big East regular season crown.
It avenged a 1 point road loss
It will help our ranking stay pretty close to where we are currently which in turn will help with seeding for the tournament
Most of all, for me anyway, it shows that the loss at Nova was just a blip because this is not the same old St. John's!
This team is for real and will make noise in the tournament. Nobody wants to play against this team.

No more Ayo and no more Prey
Rough game. I feel good about being a four seed but no way we get past the Sweet Sixteen playing like we have the last few games.
If that doesn't tell you plus-minus in basketball is virtually meaningless I don't know what would. This ain't hockey. One of us could step on the court and end up with a plus rating.
