Creighton (MSG), Sun., Feb. 16, 3p, FS-1

Glover does not seem ready to me. I think the coaching staff feel the same way. he played 2 min with 2 TOs and 1 Foul against Nova, He played 1 min against Uconn & Marquette. He looks shaky when he is in there. Last game he had decent minutes was against Gtown in a blowout. It's a tricky spot because he needs game experience but these games are mostly very tight. 3 or 4 wasted possessions could mean winning or losing by 2.

Im not a fan of giving kids a minute here, 2 minutes there etc. And then yanking them when they make a mistake.

If you are going to play a kid, leave him out there for 5 straight minutes. Let him play through a turnover or 2.

If you are not willing to do that, dont play them at all.

Glover is mentally shot now. Will take all summer to get his head right again.

A Coach & Psychiatrist in one post. 👀

The difference btwn Glover and Lefty is Glover is pressing out there. He wants to show he belongs and its causing him to make mistakes.

Lefty is just happy to be out there and is letting the game come to him.

Has anyone heard Ashworth telling teammates he wants to be called The Dude ?

And, can someone get Steve Buscemi tickets to the game ?

Maybe in that Suite that mjmaher has nixed ?

Buscemi is a great guy . NYC Bravest alum .
I grew up with Steve. I see him every few years at a get together. We went to high school together and played sports together He is just a great guy!!

Lefteris has played with older players in Europe and has international experience while Glover is still a high school kid trying to adjust to playing against men. He's getting rattled easily and, like Vince, rushes his game instead of going with the game flow.
