Brady Status

Maybe this is a “see what’s out there” situation. Seems like it would be smart for Brady to at least explore I guess

Probably cuts both ways. Still, wouldn’t surprise me if he decides to stick around.

If the question was Glover or Brady, I wonder what most would say.

I'd like him to stay, but if this team will continue to have this defensive reputation and speed then I don't see him staying unless he remains OK being a 7th or 8th guy.

My guess is he's going to want more minutes and as I speculated before, I think his academic status & interests will factor in

I want as much retention as possible… cause the guys that stay- are “bought” in.

The way Brady has acted on the Bench shows he is a “culture” guy good Programs are built around.

We are gonna need what… 4?… solid contributors from the Portal…? There is definitely 15-20 mins available for junior yr Brady..,

Have to think he'd have to drop down a level if he's expecting/hoping to game a guaranteed more prominent role somewhere. His best bet may be to stick around, but nothing wrong with gauging interest

I dunno if we can write in pen or pencil Brady for 15-20 minutes if we're going to be a top 10 team next year.

Retain, retain, retain.

We only need complementary pieces next year. Maybe find a freshman big transfer similar to Zuby out of Kansas.

Can he shop his NIL value before entering the portal?

If we retain Smith, agree.

Watching Houston last night, I do wonder if we go hard for a center to start next year. Zuby can obviously defend fours and Rick's played around with him and Prey. But we would really be turbocharged if we can get a bonafide starter at center and Zuby can work on his outside game. The Zuby/Reed match-up on Friday kind of scared me. Watching Omier, it would've been insane to have both of them together on the floor.

If you look at the top five teams in the country, their frontlines are huge. It's like the SEC's historic advantage of big guys on the offensive/defensive lines, just this time its front courts. Prey/Zuby/Maker (? -- not just throwing you a bone, maybe he can play the Vince role) is a start, but having a guy who's a legit 6'10" 240lb would be nice.

Ehh… he was averaging 20ish first 3 games... mins drpped vs NM.. 13 vs Baylor ... and i think that was the first game he got banged up... so ill stop there...

i think Junior yr Brady can carve out 17 mpg

Our defense also got a lot better. Not saying that's the reason for it, but we took it up three notches.
