What’s everyone’s “honest” prediction? Not what you would like to see happen, but what you believe we can reasonably expect. Let’s see who comes closest or if anyone picks it all correctly.😎👍

This prediction thread is coming at the perfect time because with all the new players, new coach, ups & downs, etc I feel like this is the first point in the season where I finally have SOME grasp of what I think this team is…

Maybe wishful thinking but if this veteran team is ever going to use that experience to help close out a couple close, big games well…it’s now or never. I guess I’m foolishly trusting them but I think they have one more mini-win streak in them to get them over the hump 🤞

Also I think that the Seton Hall & Providence games will make or break the season. If they can beat Marquette or Creighton maybe that changes things but if things go chalk and we assume they lose at very tough Hinkle gotta view those 2 as MUST HAVE.

I would say 6-2 / 5-3 and 5-3 being not how they want to finish out. That would mean the need 2 wins in the BE tourney to try to lock up a bid
 
Prediction: A boatload of keyboard frenzy filled insults (of an equal, but yet delicate balance of players and fellow posters) darting across game threads with unabashed ferver and frequency of a recidivist subway purse snatcher (see what I did there?), all the while simultaneously and effortlessly handwringing with aplomb.

And throughout the dozens of pages of sheer literary genius, which would undoubtedly make F. Scott Fitzgerald envious from his grave, nary a mention of the score. Not even once.

Post Script: I will wait for Eric and Monte to put up the odds of my prediction for affirmation.

The post is about predicting the W L of each game, not a general record. Just copy the teams and put an L or W next to each.
 
I think we lose to marq, creighton and butler. Will go 5-3 down the stretch and still no signature win on the resume.

I do think we have an advantage playing the BET at msg and may knock of a big time team there to make the ncaa.

My "bold prediction" is we lose @Georgetown and the fanbase full on melts down, but then we rebound and win out, and enter the BET on fire and dangerous.

Not sure I really believe we can beat Marquette & Creighton but just to be different and consistent with my eternal optimist mode I'll go with that!

Oh man. This makes too much sense. If they are finally going to make the tournament it’s only appropriate they do it in a way that will cause the most chaos within the fanbase 😂

I have no idea what team will show up. I hope it’s not like the teams that fold in the second half of games. Too many on this board assuming that DePaul and Georgetown are 4 wins (3 remaining). Got to play the games. Players (and coaches) need to stay focused and give the needed efforts. Like any game. I like 7-1. Creighton the stinker.
