That assessment is a little over the the top. He threw 2 beautiful moves - the first half reverse, and second half spin on the break.
Erving even as a collegian, could throw a game filled with a wide assortment of never seen before aerial power moves and acrobatics. Luis had a very uneven game, but i will say that he can do things that no one else on the court can. Athletically gifted but must be refined before the nba is a possibility.
Having said that he is the one guy you don't want to take your eyes off when he gets the ball because he can turn something amazing out of the ordinary.
I've been in the Brady fan club since season began. Exceot for making shots, everything else (hustle, hitting the deck, temperament) has been there from day one. Funny, Pitino gave him a gift to pad his stat line with 4 tech free throws. He missed 2 so badly, Pitino yanked him off the line. Still nice game for him.
Soriano has developed incredible patience with the ball in his hands, even in heavy traffic. He appears to wait as much as 5-6:seconds or more to find the space for a soft jumper or ferocious power move. His passing also underrated. Good bounce back game for him.
Really nice moments about 20 minutes or so post game. A few players hung out with their families in the bleachers for a long time. Zuby, Luis, Ledlum i recall. Nice moments to see these all great kuds just hanging with family. Zuby's entire family here from Texas and will go to nova and be back next week. In particular a great loving crew who i met in Charleston, and have already been to a bunch of his games.
Still plenty of empty seats upstairs for a big east home game. Shameful really but i see it like going to a reallybgood restaurant before itsca must go to place. While some fans wait for the team to be good enough, those who are coming are getting their moneys worth.
A win at Nova will change the season's outlook (at present). Big week ahead
