Zendon Hamilton

Was he sitting to the left of the basket?

How about making Werdann the coach, Hamilton the big man coach and Felipe the the recruiter. Let them bring in Barkley or one of our other former standout guards to fill out the staff.

He stopped by to thank Tarik Turner for ruining his collegiate career.

Ain't that the truth?
I like Tarik on TV but he was a major factor in Mahoney's demise
A competent PG playing with Zendon & Felipe would have done great things
His shot was flatter than a pancake

I figured it was only a matter of time before someone suggested Zendon be a coach here. Now I have no idea whether or not he can coach, but if the BB IQ that he exhibited during his 4 years here is any indictor, I would look elsewhere.

as soon as Turner graduated and Barkley came to the team there was a complete turnaround.

What does his BB IQ as a player have to do with anything?

I'd rather see Zendon on that bench everyday of the week than Gene Keady.

Zendon is our product and he made the league as a player and has tried to gain coaching experience. Nothing wrong with that.

Solid programs bring back former players because it gives some credibility. We need to do more of it.

Hire Rowan Barrett & bring his stud kid along. :) He's very young, but supposed to be a super player.

I agree there is no harm having him on the bench and the Keady thing has run its course. Time to enjoy retirement coach. We appreciate everything you tried to do to help the wizard but it's time to move on.

I can't see why Zendon Hamilton would want to get into coaching. He isn't likely to "assist" anyone.

I don't think that's necessarily true. He's obviously played the game at the highest level and has always gotten along with younger players so I really...... wait..... wait... ISEEWHACHEWDIDTHERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Barkley just got in trouble for punching a parent when he was coaching an AAU team, don't think he would be coming aboard.

He was sitting in the section next to me at Barclays last year and I didn't like the body language.

More fire than anyone on our staff.

Was he telling the big men to make sure they bring the ball down to the their knees after every rebound and to take unnecessary dribbles in the lane?

You're crazy!

But seriously, yes, quality of career is a direct correlation to quality of coach.

But seriously, seriously, whoever mentioned Werdann, he has a lot of coaching experience. None on the college level but who knows, I'd rather have him than Zendon after four whole months of D League assistant coaching.

IMO heady players generally make better coaches. Zendon was not the headiest of players.
