Zach Article

Agreed because no way he’s going to write that thinking he’s going to be asking questions to CMA next year :)
If CMA is back this is what Zach will see on the door to Carnesseca when he arrives on Media Day:

I concur he likely “got the word” informally; but, it is wise for the University to make it clear to potential hires and current players that there will be a change. That way, anyone interested in wearing the red and white next season doesn’t commit elsewhere prematurely.

I have moved on from debating if there will be a change. There will be.

I am more worried who they will target.
With how confident, and perhaps rightfully so, people are he will get let go. I’m surprised there’s not more talk of potential candidates. I just really think the Mike Brey connection might be something in possible. And I don’t necessarily love that.

I'm fine with putting feelers out to potential candidates but going to the kids during the season is absolutely not the right thing to do IMO

Making the NIT should have no bearing on Anderson’s return. That ship has sailed. Like most I thought the additions of Cragg, Anderson and Father Shanley were all good moves. The first two have turned out to be big disappointments.
Its all up to Father Shanley to do whatever is necessary to bring Repole back into the fold and to offer the job to Pitino.

Shanley and St. John's will have to break all ties with Joe Oliva before Repole would consider coming back into the fold. He has not attended one game or, to my knowledge, even spoke of the program since his WFAN interview when he said he would pay to get rid of Gempshaw and Oliva. One of those men is gone and one is not. As long as Oliva is here, regardless of whether he has any remaining power over athletics or not, it is useless to even mention Repole.

Great and accurate article by Zach. Zach has been a support to Anderson and the program since he arrived so for him to suggest Anderson’s removal is based on the facts, not some sort of agenda. Zach is simply saying what should be quite evident to any “actual” fan of St. John’s., that Anderson needs to go.

Glad he had the onions to tell it like it is and not soft soap it. Such an article will add to the pressure of the school making the right decision as the school has been made to look bad if Anderson is not terminated at seasons end. Thank you Zach.
