Yankees 2025 Season

Judge is never going to get a clutch hit again, because teams will take a page from the Jays play book, and put him on in all clutch situations, especially with what happened when they did give him the chance last night
Bonds Effect - wait until teams start putting him on regardless of the situation.

And the hits just keep on coming. Don’t know how they can trade for everything they need this year, a starter, bullpen pieces and of course an infielder. Let’s see what they come up with.

Rock Bottom!!

Who is going to take the fall for this mess? Blake, maybe.

At least 3 more bad plays in the field again today, and no one take responsibility for the way this team plays defense. Idiot Boone says they are a good defensive team. He is the ultimate excuse maker.

Muts come in not hitting, and they break out.

Figured Montas would reign in the Yanks.

Just horrible pitching by everyone today. Bullpen is godawful.

Amazing they are now 3 games out of 1st.

Yanks signed 2 backup infielder today. What?!?!

If someone isn't fired after this weekend, then we know that Steinbrenner is truly not serious about this team. Boone absolutely needs to go, and should never have been extended once, much less a second time. But, Cashman should absolutely not be able to hire another manager for the New York Yankees. It's high time that the dead wood gets removed from this organization. This week has been an absolute abomination.

Boone right now, Cashman at the end of the season baring a miracle turnaround.

Salvage a game where the Mets were throwing low leverage guys, and it still went down to the end. Bellinger and Goldschmidt with huge defensive gems to preserve the lead. Devin Williams was great in his inning to lock it down. Wells and Judge with big knocks.

This doesn't change anything, though. They still need to clear the dead wood from the manager and front offices. This team is going nowhere.

I got nothing else. Well said.

Yankees with a rare 3-for-8 day with runners in scoring positon. Of course, two of the hits didn't even drive in a run. Stanton couldn't score from second on Bellinger's single (the less said about that the better), and DJ had an infield hit with Volpe on second (nothing you can do about that).

However, two of the runs scored on ground ball fielders' choices, and Judge had a sac fly as well (just missed a 3-run homer on that). If your not going to get hits with RISP, at least get the runner home from third with less than two outs, and at least the Yankees did that yesterday. They need to start doing it way more often.
