Yankees 2025 Season

Who is this joker of a color commentator today. Guy gets thrown out at second trying to tag up on a fly out and he calls it being doubled off. WTH

F'ing umps just robbed judge of a hr, they robbed him.

Yankees should try to sue MLB for being biased towards them, seems like these pumps are hard up towards the Yanks.

I wouldn't go through MLB and ask them to police these pumps. I'd go through the courts.

The court might laugh, but in the real world if people are biased towards you, you could sue them. Dead serious, I'd give it a try and see what happens. Screw MLB.

Serious question. Does MLB ever discipline these umps?

And it's some major bs, and the killer is they freaking reviewed it, and still called it foul?
Isn't that called being BIASED? The least you could do is do your job and get the call right.

I hope the Yankee front office doesn't let this slide just because they won.

MLB won't police themselves, they'll just give a BS apology.

Fried has been the ace that the rotation needed. He was excellent today, and gave them much needed length. Grisham continues to hit and play outstanding defense. 3 out of 4 is very nice over a divisional rival. On to Cleveland.
Nice series win, but that loss last night still stings, especially with Williams showing nothing, and his body language and actual language after the game leads me to question whether he's fit for NY.

Cabrera with a tough series in the field.

Great outing by Fried. In total control. Official scorer change questionable.

By the looks of it, Judge got robbed of a homer. If YES has that video, how does MLB not have it?

Yes, Judge got screwed. Looked like it was fair by 10 feet.

How can anyone explain how they called that a foul ball but that they are biased against the Yankees.
They even reviewed it, are the mlb officials that retarded or blind?.

Sorry, but really really makes me fume.

This is they're job, they get paid for this. Get it right.

Yet another shitty loss. Fielding has absolutely NOT improved, whatever the numbers say. My eyes tell a different story. Boone will say there was soft contact. Soft or not, field the damn ball!

2 hits from the lineup not named Judge.

Offense had their chances against the Cleveland starter, but couldn't come through.

Boone decides to give Warren another inning, 3rd time through the lineup, and of course, it backfires, with plenty of relief help available.

Boone had no issues with anything the Yanks did tonight. Never winning anything with him.

This is heading to a very mediocre season.

Yankees are a pretty unbalanced team. Hitting is basically Judge and Goldie.
Volpe has completely fallen off the rails. He has too many peaks and valleys performance wise at the plate. Bellinger has struggled much more than I expected him to. Dominguez has had his moments, but is a young player without a lot of minor league at bats. Wells needs to be more steady. Chisholm is a bit of an enigma.

And frankly, they're not showing much in terms of power. Goldy has 7 RBI total, and Judge, as great as he's been, has 1 homer (really should be 2) in the last 3 weeks.

It's not that they aren't coming through in big spots (though Goldy has a propensity to hit into double plays). It's that they're never coming up in big spots, Judge especially.

Rice has been great, too. He shouldn't be left out.

I thought Bellinger would have a great year, but he's been in and out of the lineup, and not too effective when he's in (great defensive outfielder, though, in all 3 spots).

I thought Volpe would put it all together this year (average and power), but the Yankees may have put too much on him the last few years. At some point, he should have been sent down to give his hitting the individualized attention it needed.

I'm not giving up on Wells or Dominguez. Jazz will always get a longer leash from me, because he brings the speed element.

DJ went 3 for 3 in a rehab game last night. He may get the third base job by default, when he returns. Cabrera has decent bat-on-ball skills, but is naturally a second baseman, and it shows. Peraza is a great fielder, but is pretty much an automatic out at the plate.

Very thankful for the Fried signing, right now. We're 5-0 when he starts, 9-10 when he doesn't.
